Together with the Elements team, we selected and foraged the botanicals for this collaborative gin at Manawa, a beautiful whenua nestled into the Southern Alps by the Waikerikeri awa on the Canterbury Plains. The floral aroma of kohuhu is balanced by the refreshing notes of douglas fir and a touch of spice from cubeb. Apple peel and calamint add fruity and herbaceous elements, with lemon providing a zesty finish alongside classic juniper.

The inspiration for this gin originated from an apple orchard at Manawa. Grace Hart had a vision of utilising the botanicals and apples from her farm in a unique way. A day of exploration spent in their wonderful company led to the development of this gin. Manawa holds great importance for the entire family, making this gin a representation of family ties and the comfort of belonging.
